13 short videos, one for each part of the product: signing up, building a site from your resume, changing its words and its design, publishing, your profile, and versions tailored to a job. Watch them in order from the start, or go straight to the one you need. Under each are its steps, written out, and the questions people ask about it.
The videos are in Chinese: Chinese narration, the Chinese interface, and Chinese captions in the picture. English captions are on, and every chapter’s steps below are in English, with the buttons named as the English interface names them.
The written steps include My library and AI design. Some videos show the earlier creation flow; follow the written steps for the current interface.
Still stuck after that? Ask Mimi, in the corner of the page.
Each chapter plays straight into the next.
01 Signing up and signing in
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- On the home page, press “Create your site” at the top right.
- Enter your email and a password of at least 8 characters, and tick the box for your age and the terms.
- Under it, a box of its own asks whether your resume and text may be sent to AI providers abroad. It is optional: you can sign up without it and be asked before you first use an AI feature. Then press “Create account”.
- A 6-digit code arrives by email: type it in and you are done. It expires in about an hour, and “Send another code” sends a new one.
- Next time, press “Sign in”. Forgot your password? Press “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page and reset it with a code sent to your email.
Questions people ask
The code never arrived. What now?
Check that the address is spelled right, since a mistyped one gets no email, and look in your spam folder. A code lasts about an hour, and “Send another code” can be pressed once every 60 seconds. Still nothing? Write to support@exploremehere.com.
How do I make a site?
Press “New site”: describe the purpose; upload, reuse or skip a resume; review profile facts and select content, with the optional My library tab reusing files from My profile → Materials; describe your design direction, with AI design by default or a template you explicitly choose; then confirm an address and create a preview. Explain library files in batches and answer any clarification questions before generation. You can edit the result before publishing.
Make a site →02 A new site: purpose and design direction
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- On My sites, press “New site”.
- Step 1, “First, who are you?”, asks three questions: who you are, what the site is for, and your field.
- Each answer may add a few optional ones. What your site shows first, and how it is written, follow your answers.
- Choose the design approach later under Design. AI design is the default; only a template you explicitly select is used. Finish the purpose questions here and press “Continue”.

Make a site →Can I change the look? Does it cost anything?
Any time, and all of it is free: 23 looks, 46 palettes, typefaces, layouts, 8 ways to arrive and 21 extra effects, on every plan. Under Design in the editor, a click puts one on, with no step to confirm, and “Undo” in the note takes it back. On a site that is already live, press “Update site” for the change to go live.
Help: Changing the design →03 Your resume, read and checked
0:26Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- If you did not tick the AI box when you signed up, step 2, “Do you have a resume?”, first tells you where your resume is sent and what for, and the upload appears once you agree.
- Drop a PDF or Word resume on “Chinese resume” or “English resume”, or paste the text, and press “Read my resume”. The button shows how many credits this step uses. Upload both for a site in both languages.
- Added a resume before? Under “Use a resume you added before”, press “Use this one”, then “Use this resume”. Nothing is read again and no credits are used.
- Step 3, “Choose what your site will show”: review dates, roles and missing details in My profile, then check the content this website should include. Set Written in to Both languages for a text box in each language.
- In the same step, My library (optional) reuses files from My profile → Materials and also accepts work, images, audio, video, documents and other files in batches. Select files to explain their purpose to AI, answer its questions, then separately check Show on this website. Skip the library if you have no additional material.
Questions people ask
What happens to my resume?
To read it, the file is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, in the United States), never used to train their models, and only after your separate consent. The original PDF or Word file is kept privately in your profile, where only you can download it and you can delete it any time.
Privacy Policy →Can my site be in Chinese and English?
Yes. Choose Chinese, English or both when you build it, and add a Chinese and an English resume together if you have both. You can also add the other language later in Settings, translated by the AI (charged per batch) or written yourself.
What can I keep in Materials, and how do I show it on a site?
Materials lives inside My profile and keeps resume originals alongside images, video, audio, PDFs, office documents and other files beyond a resume. Each file can be up to 100 MB, with 200 files and 2 GB per account. Select up to 20 files to explain their project, your contribution and preferred presentation together. AI asks for missing context, and your answers are saved. Supported images, small PDFs and text can be read within limits; audio, video, large files and formats without parsing rely mainly on your written description, without claiming they were watched or heard. Uploading and managing files uses no AI credits; understanding is charged by actual use. Separately check “Show on this website” during creation: selecting files to explain does not include them on the website. Originals stay private until selected content is published on a site.
Materials →04 Pick an address, build the site
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Step 4, “Tell AI how you want to present yourself”: describe what to highlight and how to show media. Keep AI design or explicitly choose a template. For job searches, a target role is an optional detail in this step.
- Step 5: pick your address. A name in Chinese is turned into pinyin for you, and “Available” means you can have it. The address can be changed later.
- Press “Create my site”; the button shows how many credits this step uses. AI first attempts fresh design research, then arranges and writes the site from your selected content and direction. The result opens as an editable preview; publishing makes it public.
Questions people ask
Does my site use a template by default? How does AI design it?
AI design is the default: it composes layouts, content order and media from your selected content, audience and direction. Only an explicitly chosen template keeps that template's style and layout. Planning attempts fresh web research using the field and presentation types, without putting your name or private material in search queries. Unavailable research or AI is disclosed. A video can use a muted background or player, work can use a background, carousel or gallery, audio has playback controls, and documents can be downloads. Your explicit requests take priority.
Make a site →What is a tailored version?
A version of your site made for one job or one study programme: under Tailored websites, save the job description in Job, or confirm the school, programme and intake in Study and read its official requirements. The AI reads each requirement against your profile and makes a version that leads with what is relevant, on a link of its own; your site stays as it is. Free keeps 1 at a time, Plus 3, Pro 15.
Tailored websites →Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Plus and Pro. Once the site is published, open Settings in the editor, find Domain, and add the record it shows at your domain's registrar. Every site, Free included, also has its own address at yourname.exploremehere.com.
My sites →05 The editor at a glance
0:23Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- On the left are the Content, Design, Settings and AI tabs; on the right, the preview.
- Above the preview, switch between Desktop, Tablet and Phone, and on a bilingual site between its languages.
- Changes save as a draft by themselves. Undo is ⌘Z, or Ctrl+Z on Windows.
- “N to do” in the top bar lists what still needs filling in. Click an item to go to it.
- ⌘K (Ctrl+K) opens the command palette, to search for a feature or a section.
Questions people ask
Can I undo a change or go back to an earlier version?
Yes. Undo works throughout the editor (⌘Z or Ctrl+Z), and History keeps earlier versions by itself: 10 on Free, 50 on Plus, 200 on Pro, besides snapshots you save yourself (5 on Free).
Help: History and snapshots →What can Mimi do?
Here I answer questions about exploremehere, on every plan, free, 30 a day. On Plus and Pro, open a site in the editor and I can change it for you: say what to change, or show me with a screenshot or by pointing, and I suggest the changes, which take effect only when you apply them. Each message there is charged by what it uses.
06 Changing the content
0:27Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Click what you want to change in the preview and its section opens on the left; the preview catches up a moment after you type. Your avatar is under “About you”, and the photo on the first screen in the Header section.
- Every word and every picture can be changed. Moving, hiding, adding and deleting sections is on Plus and Pro. Find the specific entry in Content and press “Create a subpage” at its top, or “Edit this page” for an existing one. Each degree gets its own page; pictures, figures, steps and skill groups also have a page action on their own rows. New subpages are on Plus and Pro.
- In the page's drawer, press “Let Mimi expand it” to prepare a conversation about that page, or “Add my own content” to write a paragraph yourself; pictures and links are below. Source notes and requests for missing details stay in the editor; the public page shows finished content.
- If a sentence reads badly, press “Improve” under its box, then “Use this” to replace it. Where a bilingual site’s English is still empty, press “Translate them into English” above the preview.
- Letting Mimi change your site on the AI tab is on Plus and Pro. Say what you want changed, and nothing changes until you press “Apply”. Each message is charged by what it uses, shown after the reply. Usually 1 to 3 credits a message; the first of a conversation, or the first after a pause of a few minutes or after you apply a change, about 5 to 15; more with a screenshot, a page of writing or a long reply.
Questions people ask
How do I create a subpage for one degree, text entry or picture?
In the editor's Content tab, find the specific entry and press “Create a subpage” at its top or on its row; an existing page says “Edit this page”. Each bachelor's, master's or doctoral entry gets its own page. In its drawer, press “Let Mimi expand it” for a conversation about that page or “Add my own content” to write a paragraph; pictures and links are below. Source notes and requests for missing details stay in the editor, while the public page shows finished content. New subpages are on Plus and Pro.

Help: Your resume, read and checked →07 Changing the design
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Open the Design tab and press “Change the look”. On a computer, rest the pointer on a look and the preview tries it on.
- A click puts it on. Not right? Press “Undo” in the note that appears.
- Colours, typeface, and under Text, Layout and Navigation and motion the sizes, spacing, navigation and motion, can each be changed on their own.
- On a site that is already live, design changes also go live only when you press “Update site”.
- Every one of these options is on every plan.
Questions people ask
Can I change the look? Does it cost anything?
Any time, and all of it is free: 23 looks, 46 palettes, typefaces, layouts, 8 ways to arrive and 21 extra effects, on every plan. 08 Publishing and sharing
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- The first time you press “Publish” at the top right, your address pops up, and “Copy link” copies it to send.
- After that, changes are kept as a draft and the top bar says “Unpublished changes” until you press “Update site”.
- Your address is the name you chose, followed by .exploremehere.com.
- It works on a phone too. On a bilingual site, “EN” switches it to English.
- Items marked red under “N to do” have to be dealt with before you can publish.
Questions people ask
How do I publish my changes?
What you change in the editor is saved as a draft as you go. Press Publish, or Update site, and the live site changes within seconds. Before publishing there is a to-do list, and the red items, such as example text still on the page, have to be dealt with first.
My sites →Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Plus and Pro. Once the site is published, open Settings in the editor, find Domain, and add the record it shows at your domain's registrar. Every site, Free included, also has its own address at yourname.exploremehere.com.
My sites →09 History and snapshots
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Before a big change, press “Save snapshot” in the top bar and give it a name. A snapshot is kept in History only and never goes live.
- History holds the automatic saves and your snapshots. Click one to see it in the preview.
- To go back to it, press “Restore this”, choose “Content and look” or only the words and sections, and press “Restore”.
- What you have now is saved to History first, so a restore can be undone too.
- Free keeps 10 automatic saves and 5 snapshots; Plus 50 and 30; Pro 200 and 100.
10 Your profile
0:21Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Open “My profile” in the top bar. Background holds education and languages; Experience and achievements holds your work; Materials holds files, resume sources and links to entries. Original PDF and Word resumes can be downloaded there.
- Facts you correct here (employers, titles, dates, schools) are used by new sites and tailored versions; after a correction, you choose which pages to update.
- Under “Edit”, each entry can be set to “Always show” or “Keep it out”.
- Press “Analyse my profile” to see your strengths and the evidence still missing. The button shows how many credits this step uses. The analysis changes nothing by itself.
Questions people ask
What is the profile?
Everything you have done, in one place: your roles, projects, schools and the resumes you added, whose original PDF or Word files you can download. Facts you correct there (employers, titles, dates, schools) are used by new sites and tailored versions, and after a correction you choose which pages to update. Each entry can be set to “Always show” or “Keep it out”.
What happens to my resume?
To read it, the file is sent to an AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, in the United States), never used to train their models, and only after your separate consent. The original PDF or Word file is kept privately in your profile, where only you can download it and you can delete it any time.
Privacy Policy →11 Jobs and tailored versions
0:22Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Under Tailored websites, in Job, find “Add a job”, enter the company and role, paste the job description as it is, and press “Save and open”.
- Press “Analyse this job” to see which of its requirements your profile can back up. The button shows how many credits this step uses.
- Open “A version of your site for this job” and press “Create tailored version”: your site is arranged for this job, and rewritten where your profile supports it.
- Press “Open in editor” to check and change it. A tailored version has its own address (/for/…), opens only once you publish it, and is kept out of search engines. Tailored versions in use at a time: 1 on Free, 3 on Plus, 15 on Pro; archived ones do not count.
- Applying to study: under Tailored websites, switch to Study, confirm the school, programme and intake, read the programme's official requirements (or paste them when the page will not open), choose what to lead with after the analysis, then create a separate version. Whether the school accepts an external website is what its own rules say; until they say so, do not submit it as an official application document.
Questions people ask
What is a tailored version?
A version of your site made for one job or one study programme: under Tailored websites, save the job description in Job, or confirm the school, programme and intake in Study and read its official requirements. The AI reads each requirement against your profile and makes a version that leads with what is relevant, on a link of its own; your site stays as it is. Free keeps 1 at a time, Plus 3, Pro 15.
Tailored websites →12 Credits and plans
0:26Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- Steps that use the AI cost credits, and each one’s button shows how many it uses; Mimi in the editor is charged by what each message uses. A new account gets 120 AI credits, once.
- Free: 1 site, with every look.
- Plus: 3 sites, your own domain, new pages (for any section, entry or the menu), visitor stats, arranging sections, search engine settings, and editing with Mimi.
- Pro: 10 sites, everything in Plus, a site password, and site export.
- There is also a 90-day pass that does not renew. Prices are in US dollars; you can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the checkout page has the final word.
Questions people ask
What do Free, Plus and Pro each include?
Free: 1 site, every word editable, every look. Plus: 3 sites, 3 tailored versions, your own domain, rearranging sections, visitor stats, own pages (for any section, entry or the menu), SEO settings, and Mimi to edit your site in the editor, with 300 credits a month. Pro: 10 sites, 15 tailored versions, everything in Plus, a site password and data export, with 800 credits a month. Today's prices are on the plans page.
See the plans →Do unused credits carry over?
No. Credits included with a plan are replaced on the 1st of each month (UTC, 08:00 in Beijing). A yearly plan refreshes monthly too, by the same amount as a monthly one, so a year brings twelve refreshes rather than one large balance. Credits you buy in a pack never expire. A pass's credits last as long as the pass.
See the plans →What happens to my site if I stop paying, or my pass ends?
It stays published and online. Only the paid features around it stop: statistics, the custom domain, and the settings that need a paid plan to change. Nothing is deleted and nothing is taken offline.
See the plans →13 Settings and your account
0:27Narrated in Chinese, with English captions.
Steps
- In the editor’s Settings, the address can be changed, and the old addresses keep opening the site (five of them are kept).
- Your own domain, the search engine setting, and the full visitor stats are on Plus and Pro. Stats are under “Stats” on each site’s row in My sites; Free shows the visits of the past 7 days.
- A password and exporting the site’s data (“Download JSON”) are on Pro only.
- “Take offline” only takes the site off the web: the content stays and it can be published again any time. “Delete site…” asks you to type the address, and a deleted site cannot be brought back.
- On the Account page you can download all your data, or delete your account.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between taking a site offline and deleting it?
“Take offline” only removes the site from the web: the content stays, and you can publish it again any time. “Delete site” asks you to type its address, then removes the site, its address and every image on it for good, and cannot be undone. Both are in the editor’s Settings.
Can I download my data, or delete my account?
Yes. “Download my data” on the Account page exports everything the account holds as one JSON file, on every plan. Exporting one site on its own, with “Download JSON” in the editor’s Settings, is on Pro only. The Account page can also delete the account, and that cannot be undone.
Account →Can I put a password on my site?
On Pro, yes: only people with the password can open it. Turn it on in Settings in the editor.
