Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-21-docs, in effect from 21 October 2026

These are the terms for using exploremehere. They are short, and they say what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. The Chinese text is the binding one; this English version is provided for convenience.

1. About us, and accepting these terms

This service is provided by Yisen Lu, an individual and a citizen of the People's Republic of China, trading as exploremehere (“we”). By creating an account you enter into these terms with us. You must be at least 16 years old; the service is not for anyone younger.

The version of the terms you accepted, and when, is recorded with your account.

2. The service

exploremehere turns your resume into a personal website: it reads the resume you upload, drafts a site, lets you change it in the editor, and publishes it on a subdomain we provide (or on your own domain).

Plans. The free plan includes one site, which you can edit and publish as much as you like. The paid plans (Plus and Pro) open the rest; the plans page lists what each includes. Plans decide what your SITE may become: an address of your own, visitor statistics, how many tailored versions you keep. Of the AI features, only one depends on the plan: having Mimi, the assistant, change your site in the editor, which comes with Plus and Pro. Every other AI feature is open on every plan, including the free one.

AI credits. What the AI features use is credits. An action with a fixed price has its price listed on the plans page, and runs only while your balance covers it. Some actions are charged by what they actually use (today, Mimi, the assistant, changing your site in the editor): there is no fixed price, and the plans page says how they are charged and what a message usually takes. Each message is charged what it used, rounded up to whole credits, and each reply shows what it took; a message is sent only while your balance is at least the figure the plans page lists, and if it uses more than your balance, only your balance is taken. There is no overdraft and nothing is ever charged to your card automatically. Credits buy this service’s own AI features and nothing else: they cannot be withdrawn, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not a deposit or stored value of any kind.

Where credits come from, and when they end. A new account is given a starting amount, once. A subscription includes an amount each calendar month, which is replaced on the 1st (UTC) rather than added to: unused plan credits do not carry over. A pass includes an amount that ends when the pass does. Credits you BUY never expire while your account is open, and are spent last: whenever credits are used, the ones closest to expiring go first, so what you paid for is never quietly consumed ahead of what you were given.

If a price changes. We may change what an action costs in credits. A change applies only to credits bought after it takes effect: credits you already hold, and a pass already running, keep the prices in force when you bought them, and we give at least 30 days’ notice before a rise. If an action turns out to cost you more than we said it would (for an action charged by use, more than the amount shown after the reply), that is our mistake and we will put it right.

Early access. The service is young: features may change and things occasionally break. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Keep a copy of your content with the export feature.

3. Payment, renewal and refunds

Our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ in Estonia. Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it is the seller, takes the payment, issues the receipt, handles sales tax, and makes any refund.

Purchase confirmations. Accounts and purchases both require a minimum age of 16. Signup records the purchase terms and your request for immediate supply after payment; buying a plan, pass or credits does not ask you to tick them again. Existing accounts complete missing confirmations once on the account page. Signup itself makes no purchase or subscription; the price, period and item are still shown before each payment.

Who takes the money. Payment is handled by Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ in Estonia, who are the merchant of record for every purchase: legally the seller, responsible for card processing, receipts, and declaring and paying sales tax and VAT wherever it is owed. You pay on Creem’s own checkout page and give your card details to them directly; we never see them and never hold them.

Renewal. Plans renew automatically for the period you chose, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page, which opens the payment provider’s own portal. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for; it does not stop the moment you cancel.

90-day passes. A pass is a single payment for the plan you chose, for 90 days from the day you pay. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. Buying another pass of the same plan while one is running adds 90 days to it; buying a higher plan starts that plan at once and adds the days left on your current pass, converted at the ratio of the two passes’ prices. A full refund of a pass ends it, and any pass it had absorbed runs again on its original dates; a partial refund leaves the pass as it is. While a pass is running you cannot start a subscription, and while a subscription is running you cannot buy a pass.

What happens if you stop paying. Sites you have published stay online and nothing is deleted. What stops is the paid apparatus around them: visitor statistics, custom domains, and the settings that need a paid plan to change. Sites beyond what the free plan includes are not deleted either, but become read-only until you upgrade again or remove them yourself.

Credit packs. A pack of AI credits is a single payment. The credits arrive once the payment completes (with some methods that is a few minutes after the checkout says it is done), and they do not expire. If a pack is refunded in full, whatever is left of it is taken back; credits already spent are not, because the work they paid for was done. A partial refund leaves your credits as they are.

Refunds. Purchases are final: once a subscription payment, a pass or a pack of credits is in your account, it is not refunded, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be excluded, what you paid for was not delivered or does not work, you were charged wrongly, we stop or cut the service or close your account, or Creem refunds a payment at its own discretion. The cases and how to ask are on the Refund Policy page, which is part of these terms. Write to support@exploremehere.com; if you have not heard back from us within seven days, you can also contact Creem at creem.io/contact. The money goes back the way you paid.

Price changes. We may change our prices. A change applies to new subscriptions only: what you signed up at is what you keep paying, unless you cancel and subscribe again.

Tax. Prices are shown in US dollars and already include any tax; the checkout lists the final amount before you pay. The tax is declared and paid by Creem.

4. Your account

One account is one person. Keep your email and password safe; what is done through your account counts as done by you. Tell us at once if you think it has been taken over.

You can delete your account at any time from the account page (see Deletion and termination).

5. Organisation accounts

Organisations and seats. A career service, a study-abroad agency, a school, a training provider or a similar body (an “organisation”) can buy seats from us for its students, on the seats plan or on the collaboration plan, which adds a collaboration space. Each seat lets one student use the plan the organisation chose for the organisation’s term, and adds credits to the organisation’s pool. A seat does not include the plan’s monthly credits. Where the organisation and we have agreed otherwise in writing, that agreement applies; otherwise these terms do.

Students own their accounts. A student signs up with their own email address and joins through the invite link the organisation gives them, or through an invite it sends to their address, which shows when they sign in with that address and can be declined. An organisation may not create accounts for its students, may not agree to anything on a student’s behalf, and may not let several people share one seat. A student’s sites, content and data are the student’s. A student can leave the organisation at any time: the plan the organisation provided ends at once, and their sites and account stay, on the free plan or on a plan of their own. While a student’s own paid subscription runs, the student stays on it, with its monthly credits, and credits from the organisation’s pool are still moved to them when theirs run short; the organisation’s plan takes over when the subscription ends.

What an organisation sees. When a student joins, they agree separately to share a listed set of progress information with the organisation (see the Privacy Policy). The organisation may use it only to guide that student in their job search, studies or applications. It may not sell it, publish it or use it for anything the student did not agree to, and it is responsible in law for how it handles it.

Collaboration space. An organisation on the collaboration plan can appoint advisers. Once a student agrees separately to collaborate, the adviser assigned to them (and, at a study organisation that runs the service flow, the members of the student’s service team) and the organisation’s owners and admins can read what the student chooses to share, comment on its drafts and review them. Only where the student allows changes to a site can an adviser change its draft and make tailored versions for them, and only where the student also allows publishing can an adviser publish a version they have reviewed. AI that advisers use on what is shared, within what the student allows, is paid from the organisation’s pool. A student can change what they share, or stop collaborating and keep their seat, at any time. The organisation answers for what its advisers do, and must make sure they use what students share only to guide those students.

Forms, files and documents. A study organisation that runs the service flow can prepare a student’s applications with forms, files and online documents. What it collects and what for is the organisation’s decision and its responsibility; it may collect only what serving that student needs, and see and work on it only while the student shares Documents and files. Sensitive personal information such as a passport, an ID card, bank statements or proof of funds, a CAS, I-20 or CoE, or a visa is not kept through this service for now, and the organisation must not upload such documents as ordinary files. The organisation answers for how its people open and use all of this.

Processing on the organisation’s behalf. For the forms, files and documents an organisation collects through this service, the organisation is the personal information handler and we process them on its behalf: only to provide this service, only as the organisation does in it, with the safeguards these terms and the Privacy Policy describe, for no other purpose, and given to nobody but the service providers the Privacy Policy lists. Requests students send us to see, correct or delete this information are passed to the organisation, and we help it answer them. 12 months after a student’s collaboration ends, unless the case is restored first, we delete that student’s information; 90 days after the organisation’s last term ends we delete all of it and keep none; the organisation can download what it needs while its term runs and for 30 days after it ends. The copies in a student’s account are the student’s, and are not part of it.

Owners, admins and advisers. The organisation’s owner accepts this section on the organisation’s behalf on joining. Owners and admins must keep invite links safe: anyone holding a student invite link can take a seat with it until the organisation stops the link. An organisation may invite by email address only people it deals with, such as its students and staff. When a student is removed or leaves, their seat can be given to someone else straight away.

Organisation credits. Credits an organisation buys go into its pool. When a student’s own credits run short, credits are moved from the pool to the student’s account automatically, up to the limit per student the organisation sets, counted over the terms running now. Credits once moved are the student’s to use, expire with the term they came from, and do not go back to the pool. Credits in the pool expire with their term. AI that advisers use is paid from the pool too.

Age. The organisation must make sure the students who join are at least 16 years old.

Payment and refunds. An organisation’s purchases are final too, with the same exceptions as under Payment, renewal and refunds and in the Refund Policy. When a term is refunded in full, its seats and the credits of its pool not yet moved to students are cancelled at once; credits already moved to students are not taken back.

When a term ends. The plan students had through the organisation ends and their sites stay online. Thirty days after the organisation’s term has ended, it no longer sees the list of its students.

6. Your content

It stays yours. Everything you upload and write (resume, text, images) remains yours. To run the service you allow us to store it, show it to visitors at your site’s address, cache it for speed, and render previews and thumbnails for the editor. This permission is only what the service needs, and it ends when you delete the content or the account (caches and backups clear shortly after).

You are responsible for it. You warrant that you may publish what you publish, that it does not infringe anyone’s rights (including their likeness, privacy, copyright and trademarks), that it is lawful, and that it contains no false credentials or identity. You are publishing a public website: put on it only what you are willing to make public.

Not allowed. Unlawful content; sexual, violent, hateful or harassing content; impersonating a person or an organisation; spam or scams; malicious code; content that infringes others’ rights; and anything else the law of the People’s Republic of China prohibits publishing.

Reports and takedowns. Anyone can report a site with “Report this site” at the bottom of the page or by writing to support@exploremehere.com. We check, and may take the content or the site offline, delete it, or suspend the account. Where practical we tell you and say why.

7. AI features

Resume reading, career and job analysis, tailored copy, conversational edits, taglines, rewriting and translation, and the answers of Mimi, the assistant, are done by an AI model. Its output is a draft: it can misread a date, a title or a name, and write a sentence that is not accurate. Check every line before you publish; what ends up on your site is your responsibility. Career and job analyses say what evidence your profile holds; they are not a prediction of whether you will be hired.

These features send what you give them (your resume, your profile, the job descriptions and study programme requirements you save, your text, what you write to the assistant and any picture you add, and with a question about the product your plan, credit balance and number of sites) to AI providers abroad, Anthropic and OpenAI (United States), to be processed. That needs your separate consent, which is not part of agreeing to these terms: signup requires a separate box that starts unticked. You agree once, for every AI feature; existing accounts without a record can complete it on the account page. What is sent, what for and how long it is kept are set out in the Privacy Policy, under AI processing and transfers abroad. You can withdraw your consent at any time on your account page; everything that does not need AI keeps working.

8. Addresses and domains

You choose an available subdomain as your site’s address. Some names (ones that could be confused with the service itself, or that impersonate a person or an organisation) are reserved or may be reclaimed. Addresses may not be sold or transferred. Deleting a site releases its address.

You may connect a domain you own. You set the DNS records at your registrar as shown; the domain serves your site only once it has been verified. Do not connect a domain you have no right to use.

Every site published with this service carries one small line in its footer pointing back to it.

9. Acceptable use

  • Do not circumvent usage caps, create accounts in bulk, or abuse the service with automation.
  • Do not attack, probe or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, or reach for data that is not yours.
  • Do not use the service for spam, scams, phishing or malware.
  • Do not scrape or copy other people’s sites for purposes outside this service.
  • Follow the law where you live and the law of the People’s Republic of China.

10. Deletion and termination

You can leave at any time. Delete a site from its settings, or the whole account from the account page. Deletion permanently removes the sites, addresses, resume data and images concerned and cannot be undone; custom domains are released. Resumes kept in your profile, and their files, stay until you remove them there, press “Delete resume data” in the settings of the site a resume came in with, or delete the account. A running subscription is cancelled at the same time and does not renew; the record of a sale is kept as tax rules require, with nothing on it that names you. The copies of documents and forms you kept from an organisation stay in your account until you delete them or the account; the records an organisation keeps are not deleted with your account, see the Privacy Policy.

We can end it too. If you break these terms we may take content offline and suspend or terminate the account. Where practical we notify you first, say why, and leave a reasonable window to export your content, except for clearly unlawful content or emergencies. If we terminate for a breach, the unused part of a paid period and the purchased credits you have not spent are still refunded, less the loss the breach caused us. Accounts inactive for a long time may be deleted after notice, but never one with a paid period still running or with purchased credits it has not spent.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that your site will be listed by search engines or bring any particular result.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data arising from using or being unable to use the service; our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose and RMB 100. Liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited (such as for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or personal injury) is not limited by this section.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we post the new version on this page, with its version number and the date it takes effect at the top, and tell you about it in the app. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new version; if you do not agree, you can stop using it and delete your account. Where the law requires your separate consent to something (for example, using your personal information for a new purpose, or providing it to a new recipient abroad), we ask for that consent on its own before we start.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the People’s Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), without reducing any rights the mandatory law where you live gives you. Disputes are to be settled by negotiation first; failing that, either party may bring the matter before the competent people’s court at our (the operator’s) domicile.

The Chinese text of these terms prevails.
